Protection of user data from unauthorized modification allows you to control access to files based on a system of program groups. If the operating system uses the concept of a user when controlling access to files, then the "Anti-lock" introduces the concept of a "group of programs". A group of programs can include either several programs or one. The "anti-lock" remembers which group of programs created the file, and then allows access to it only to the group of programs that created it.
"Anti-lock" is a minifilter driver that uses built-in tools to control access to files. There are also two programs for managing its settings: console and graphical.
Provides protection of user data:
- Preventing the threat of data encryption in the event of an encryption virus being launched by blocking the virus' access to data;
- Full automation of maintaining lists of protected files, access to files only by trusted applications;
- Data protection in case of infection of a trusted application – control of changes to their binary files (EXE and DLL), preliminary verification for signatures of all unknown or recently installed applications;
- Working at the level of a trusted MS Windows operating system driver;
- The minimum cost of computing power of the computer, independence and the ability to work in isolated mode without access to the Internet;
- The ability to work on client machines and servers.
The anti-lock can only work on the Windows 10 and higher operating system using the NTFS file system (client and server versions).
